Lent as a Lifestyle!

This year we’re challenging our students to give up certain kinds of music. Specifically, we’re challenging students to only listen to music they’d hear on a Christian radio station. This isn’t to say secular music is evil. Lots of times, fasting is the practice of giving up something that is good so that we can focus on something better – Jesus. It’s our hope this will be a time of reflection on our media choices and a chance to be reminded to offer ourselves to God through prayer more often.

If you’re part of our Youth Ministry’s Facebook page, there will be song and artist ideas posted several times a week to give students options to check out.

World Domination Day

In a relatively short amount of time, World Domination Day will commence! Bring $5 for pizza and soda plus a bag of chips (or something else to snack on). We start at 10am and end at 4pm. High school guys and girls are invited to challenge each other on the fields of Catan, Risk, Ticket to Ride, Chess, or any other strategy game of their choosing. (Bring any other favorite game if you wish!) We might even play a little bit of kill ball… See you in the Well!!

CIY Believe

We’re praying for our students who are currently in St. Louis, MO for CIY Believe! Please pray for their safe travel and for their hearts to be open for God’s love to transform their lives!
